Overview

Kyiv Arbitration Days were established in 2011. The conference was conceived to put Ukraine on the arbitration landscape and to open opportunities for an exchange between the Ukrainian arbitration community and the rest of the world.

The idea worked out well. Over the years and through occasionally stormy weather, Kyiv Arbitration Days firmly established itself as a global event in international arbitration.

Since the inception of the conference, its organizers welcomed more than 420 practitioners as speakers, among them renowned names such as Charles Kotuby, Gary Born, John Beechey, Anton Baier, Kaj Hober, Marc Blessing, Julian Lew, Mark Kantor, Christoph Schreuer, Georg von Segesser, Nikos Lavranos, Veijo Heiskanen, Simon Greenberg, Peter Goldsmith, Lord Hoffmann, Loukas Mistelis, Philippe Sands QC, Boris Kasolowsky, Yuri Parkhomenko, Bernard Hanotiau and many others.

Participants from 43 countries not only enjoyed professional and intellectual challenges but, of equal importance, also the charms of the city of Kyiv and the hospitality of the Ukrainian arbitration community.

The Organizing Committee creates the program annually and is also responsible for selecting and inviting the Organizing Committee, which is also responsible for determining which is also responsible for the selection and inviting speakers.
